Koala Country reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Koala Country, a walk through at Dreamworld.
Written by Jennifer Sharpe
In the treetops are Koalas (and their joeys), which spend most of the day sleeping, making taking a photo of them very easy. Koala country is also home to a nocturnal house which house Fruit Bats, Owls and possums.
This area has a small and rather uninspiring mini-zoo. I think it would suit an international tourist who wanted to see a koala or kangaroo while here but didn't have time to visit one of the many better sanctuaries and zoos in south east Queensland. However if seeing captive koalas and kangaroos are not high on your list on priorities I would skip it for one of dreamworlds more interesting attractions: this area is very hot and poorly maintained, I find it a bit sad. - Jocelyn De
