Joris en de Draak
A Wooden Racing Coaster built by GCI (Great Coasters International). Two trains will race for the first place, one represents fire, the other one water. The story of this attraction is based on the story of George and the Dragon; a Medieval story about an heroic knight. Riders will face the dragon en experience the elements fire and water.
The attraction replaces the wooden coaster Pegasus, a much smaller Intamin coaster built in 1991, it was demolished in 2009.
Joris en de Draak is to operational since summer 2010.
It's a good ride, but it's very family friendly for a wooden coaster and it lacks the thrills that many other wooden coasters have.
So much speed, the track is clever and the competition is fun!
