IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, a live show in World Showcase at Epcot.
Written by James Rao A huge, nighttime spectacular over the World Showcase Lagoon, using fireworks, lazers, video, fire, and music.
Readers' rating:
The best WDW night show. It shouldn't be missed. My favorite viewing location is between Norway and China. - Sean Huckel My least favorite of the three Disney world night shows. Its OK from a good viewing spot, but mediocre if you don't have a good location. The scenes on the globe are often hard to make out. The fireworks are the best part of the presentation. It was disappointing since I expected more due to some raving? reviews. - Rob Pastor I agree with others below me who seem to just not "get it." After seeing the great reviews for IllumiNations, I regretted missing it and made a point to stay until closing the second time we visited Epcot. I was disappointed. Despite being told that the view would be good from anywhere in World Showcase, we watched from the area between Morocco and France and we could not see what was happening on the globe at all. It was just too far away. The fireworks were nice, but not anything above and beyond a regular fireworks show. The best thing about it was the music, which would have been better if they stopped blasting Moroccan music from the building behind us. - Renee Michelle My personal feelings are the regular D2D version of IllumiNations is OK at best, but the holiday version really kicks it up a bunch with the second finale narrated by Walter Cronkite. If you have the chance to experience this holiday version that runs from Thanksgiving through the first week of the new year I would def take it in! - Mark Hollamon Really awesome show with great story, special effects and music (Cadets 2000!). However, is it me or is the Peace on Earth tag more like WWIII? 8/10 - Christopher Sturniolo Still one of the best finale fireworks shows in the world. It has to be due for an update soon but it still holds my attention. The fact that they do the show every night without a glitch never fails to amaze me. - Keith Forrest The only real reason to spend the full day in Epcot - Tom Cunningham Wow! I went on the fourth of July and it had an extra bit at the end. It was the most fireworks I have ever seen in the sky! Great display (A bit mad though) but the ball in the middle is just a filler in. Also that fire is Hawwwt. 9/10 - D H More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
