The Norway pavilion was the last to be added to World Showcase, in 1988. On Maelstrom, you sail on a Viking ship through fjords and storms, over waterfalls, and float by (not-too-scary) trolls in this indoor boat ride. There is a travelogue about Norway following the ride which many riders opt to skip on their way out of building.

Hahaha, one of my favorite rides at Epcot. It's cheesy and fun and has drops! - Bryce McGibeny

Maelstrom is another charming ride at Epcot. The short look back at Norway's history is pretty cool. And the falls are a little thrill for anybody. - Justin Knight

Very charming but short boat ride. I know that its gonna get refurbed soon. Thats fine all this ride needs is a touch of Disney magic to be a great boat ride. - Justin Knight

Maelstrom is a very nice enjoyable boat ride. Although short it is a great ride to just take a load off for 5 minutes or so. It always has a wait no higher than 15 when i visit. - Justin Knight

To short but so much fun! - O T

A crazy head-trip of a ride. i dunno what the designers were thinking, but MAN is this a weird ride. Great during a bout of drinking around the world. - Sean Huckel
