I agree with Brian Collins. I ate here before it was converted into a Character Dining venue. The food is probably the best and most authentic I've had at Epcot. The atmosphere is serene and beautiful. The servers are friendly, professional, and extremely attractive. Norwegian or Scandinavian food is certainly more difficult to find in Orlando than Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Mexican options, so I'm giving this a 9-Outstanding rating (despite that I haven't experienced the character dining aspect) in hopes of luring people to this overlooked gem. - Joshua Counsil

This place serves some really good food. Our server was quick to help us decide from traditional Norwegian and Disney dishes on both the menu and the included buffet portion. I can't stress how refreshing the server was and how REALLY ANNOYING the "princesses" were. They show up at the table and rattle through a script that is as insulting to the diner as it is to the poor actress forced to recite it. Our waiter was truly grateful to hear us talk about how much we liked the food. He said countless throngs show up to see the "princesses" and never even talk about the food. The pickled fish on the buffet portion was delicious. Our entrees included venison sausage over white beans (A+), Norwegian meat balls (A+) to a typical American style roast chicken (A+). Everything about the meal with the exception of the Disney Princesses was exceptionally good. - Brian Collins
