Rose and Crown Pub reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Rose and Crown Pub, a table service restaurant in World Showcase - United Kingdom at Epcot.
Written by Robert Niles The traditional English fare is represented with fish and chips, bangers and mash, a handful of tasty desserts, and beer. Also note that the outdoor seating area of this restaurant is a prime spot for viewing IllumiNations. Try to snag a table on the patio for late evening if you want to dine under the lights!
Readers' rating:
Well, the food is very representative of English food, boring & bland. So I guess it's themed just right. Very crowded tables. Not an experience worth long term reservations. - Rob Pastor I always have fish & chips - the best I have ever eaten. Our waiters always share a few tidbits about their country and suggest beers. Husband loves anything he eats here. Note - the same fish & chips can be had outside at the cart for less money but we love the dining experience inside the Pub. - Becky Wheeler I think I've seen a handful of "pubs" like the Rose & Crown in Britain and they're nearly all in the tourist traps. "Pub grub" in Britain is "cheap and cheerful"; this is not cheap but it is quite good. The presence of Guinness, and good Guinness at that, is very welcome on weary feet. - Keith Forrest Guinness on tap. Need I say more? - Jack Curley Great food, drinks, service, and location!! It's a must-do. - Glenn Davis Being from the UK and living in a pub we had to pop in for a pint just to see what the place was like. Nice rustic feel of a olde worlde pub but the outfits they make the staff wear are just laughable! The food menu is pretty simple but the meals we tried were good quality. All in all not bad. - Jennie Lea Excellent COLD, COLD beer! Cool vibe. - Christian Baggett More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
