San Angel Inn Restaurant reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for San Angel Inn Restaurant, a table service restaurant in World Showcase - Mexico at Epcot.
Written by James Rao Dine next to the River of Time inside the great Aztec pyramid of the Mexico pavilion. This restaurant is WDW's version of Disneyland's Blue Bayou but instead of overlooking the Pirates of the Caribbean, guests are treated to views of the Gran Fiesta tour and the bustling plaza of a small Mexican village.
The food goes beyond your typical Mexican restaurant (and, of course, the prices do as well) with specialties like Tacos de pato, mole poblano, and some unique fish preparations. Even their basic tacos offer quite a regional flare. Best to go in with an open mind, an open wallet, and a penchant for new tastes.
Readers' rating:
I ate here recently with my wife and we absolutely loved it! The food was excellent and the server was very attentive. The free chips and salsa were really good. There are so many good choices on the menu that I can't wait to go back and try them all. Dinning next to a pyramid and a erupting volcano creates an unforgettable atmosphere! - Mickey Black A beautiful restaurant setting inside the Mexican pyramid next to the themed attraction. Food is very good. - Rob Pastor The atmosphere is superb but the food is indifferent and the staff are, for the most part, disinterested in the guests. I have not eaten there in over 10 years because of that. - Keith Forrest Though the reports vary on this place, I have always found it fun and pretty tasty. i think some people come in expecting Combo # 5: Taco, tamale, beans and rice. And its not like that at all. - Tom Rigg More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
