Gobbler Getaway

Dark ride

About Gobbler Getaway

An interactive shoot-em-up dark ride, which opened in 2006 as part of the park's then-new Thanksgiving section. You're armed with turkey callers, trying to round up the turkeys that have gone missing, just before Thanksgiving.

Passengers must be at least 48" to ride alone. Those under 48" must ride with an adult companion. -- Last edited by Robert Niles

Gobbler Getaway is a Buzz Lightyear knock off that has the rider touring through a series of Thanksgiving events shooting turkeys and scoring points. My whole family had a lot of fun with this decently themed attraction. There is even an animatronic Grandma at the entrance of the queue explaining the ins and outs of the ride. We rode this one several times comparing scores. The attraction is well thought out and enjoyable. Consider it Buzz Lightyear on a budget. - James Rao
