About The Raven

The Raven, Holiday World's first wooden roller coaster, was built in 1995. The Custom Coasters International creation features an 85-foot drop in a deep-woods setting, a high-speed turn over Lake Rudolph, a 120-ft tunnel and a top speed of 48 mph.

Overrated. It is good but I don't understand how it won best woodie for 3 straight years. - Phil Noteware

The Raven is a short, fast, unrelenting masterpiece of a wooden coaster. I especially loved how the trees and lake are melded into the track layout. Very nice. - James Rao

It is a good ride, but it is WAY overrated. It's not as great as everyone hypes it up to be. - Dan Forget
