Festival of the Lion King
A musical tribute to Disney's "The Lion King," featuring vocalists, giant puppets and Cirque-style acrobatic performances.
The entire show was in English except for these two little furry guys who would give what I believe was a summary after every song or scene to let the non-English speakers know what happened or where in the story we were. The leads (Simba and Scar, along with the female narrator) were all black, and their voices were amazing. I can't be sure if they were singing or lip-syncing, but if they were singing, they were outstanding. The only thing that prevented it from being rated perfect for me, was that the seats were uncomfortable for the 30 minute show, plus the additional 10 minutes of pre-show.
