Disney's Paradise Pier HotelAnaheim, CaliforniaAbout Disney's Paradise Pier HotelFormerly the Disneyland Pacific Hotel, this is the least-celebrated (and least-crowded) official Disney hotel, but is just steps from California Adventure, and many rooms offer excellent views of the park. -- Last edited by Robert Niles [Update this description | Read previous versions] Photos from Disney's Paradise Pier HotelReaders' Opinions
I've stayed twice at this hotel. The rooms are somewhat spacious and full of ammenities. The first stay (about July, 2006) was excellent; the second stay (July 2008) the cleaning service was a bit off and there were union strikes going on, but this didn't hamper our stay too much. The pool, eating areas and room service were great, and there were no problems with check-in or parking. Hint: walk from the hotel to the theme parks by going THROUGH the Grand Californian Hotel. - Jon Howie The Paradise Pier was very nice to check in to. This hotel is very kid oriented and there was no shortage of them. hah hah The cast members make your stay very pleasant. We checked in the hotel mid-July during peak season. We ate lunch at the pch grill after the lunch crowd left and chairs were not clean. After getting a new table we ate and the food was fabulous. The pool area was very clean. And has a bar were you can get both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Room service food was delicious. Walking distance to Disney is about 10 minutes at a leisure pace. - Mike Sanders
