Nice hotel for the price. We also tried the pop century. About the same, good value. - steven boudreault

I'm not ranking this as though I were comparing it to a 5 star hotel, I'm ranking it compared to other similarly priced hotels on 192 in Kissimmee. And by that standard, it rocks. The decor is really fun, with great photos ops everywhere you look. The theme is really well integrated, even into the tiniest decor details inside each room. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Sure, it's really busy, but you can still relax by the pool with a drink, or grab a nutritious self-serve meal in the reasonably priced cafeteria without a wait almost anytime. We've stayed there several times, and if we didn't live in the are now, we'd be staying there a lot more. We were also impressed with how frequently the park transportation comes around. I've never waited more than a few minutes for a bus. - Heather Olson

If you get a rock-bottom price (like $59 a night) for this resort, then it is worth it. Otherwise, no. It has the feel of a budget resort and the hordes of people who stay there will make it feel even more so. (it seems to always be crowded). When we stayed in 2000, it was still relatively new. We got adjoining rooms with other family members and it was fine. Now, it just feels kind of cheap. We returned a couple of times since then for short says only because the Pop Century was booked. So, if you are on a tight budget and don't need spacious rooms, this might be fine. At least you still get the benefits of staying on site. - s b

Not bad, the rooms are mediocre; the pool is large, but nothing special. The best thing to do is make the most of your Extra Magic Hours and pool hop to the other Disney resorts... - Chris Walton
