Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge reviews

The Lodge offers deluxe guestrooms with African-inspired decor and modern amenities, such as high-speed Internet access, coupled with views of exotic animals roaming the Animal's Kingdom's savannahs. Spa services and recreational activities are also available at this full-service resort, a multiple winner of Theme Park Insider's Award for World's Best Theme Park Hotel.

Wonderful resort. Definitely think about getting a Savannah view. Waking up to animals outside your balcony is bliss. I spent hours just sitting on the balcony, and staring out onto the Savannah. It was mesmerising. The restaurants can be a bit pricy for what you get - especially Boma in my opinion - however Mara the quick-service restaurant offers cheap breakfast food and snacks throughout the day. - Andrew Mooney

Spent October at the AKV (Jambo) for Food & Wine. Loved it! Spent 4 nights renting points and the 5th Floor Savannah view villa was outstanding. The AKL has one major drawback - bus only service and the buses are not that frequent. Hence, when we stay at the AKL, we have a car and we drive everywhere including to the AK. My wife spends the first two hours of every day sitting on the balcony with her coffee and that last two hours with a glass of wine. I can't tell you any other hotel where she does that. The animals are mesmerizing to her. Sanaa has proved to be agreat addition in the food category in the new part of AKV (Kidani Village). Love their menu. - Keith Forrest

best hotel ever!!!! i woke up one morning and a giraraffe was right out my window i heard animal sounds right out of my window and BAM!!! it was right there i went to the porch and it started licking me and i got to pet it WHOOOO!!!! best ever - Manny Rodriguez

A Very nice hotel. I stayed here for my first visit to Walt Disney World. There is no hotel like this any place in the world. Great restaurants, service, and pool area. The best part is when you look outside your hotel room balcony and see wild animals. This hotel is amazing. - nick .
