By far my favorite WDW hotel. - Travis Hair

We really loved this resort. We stayed in October, so the weather was perfect. The giraffes would come so close to the hotel and there is a special viewing area. The restaurants are outstanding. We had a room with a queen and a bunk, since our boys were still small but too big to share a bed. Avoid the ground floor if you are facing the lush pool area (the pool is one of the best on WDW grounds) UNLESS you don't mind the foot traffic past your door or the noise. The hotel is normally expensive and out-of-the-way, but we did not mind it since we took advantage of a special promotion, plus we were looking for some quiet at that time. - s b

I've stayed at three Disney properties (hoping to be at a fourth this summer), and thus far...it is my favorite. We had a savannah view room, and everytime we looked outside there was a different animal. Giraffes, zebras...and more. The kids enjoyed the artist in the lobby that drew a characterture of them, and the pool is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I each enjoyed a relaxing massage, which was very nice. Our trip was in March, and we ate at Boma for breakfast (almost daily). Delicious! I would recommend asking for a room close to the lobby (it can be a good length walk to you room). The resort is a little off the "beaten path", but with the quick bus service..there is no problem getting to the parks. The resort has plenty of activities in house too...like fireside story telling, kids activities and night vision goggles. If you love animals, and/or relaxation, this may be the Disney resort for you. - April Brilliant

Anything to do with Disney is usually a hit! We were fascinated with the animals and the lodge too! This is one of the best Hotels Orlando has to offer! - Slater Reid
