One of the three Walt Disney World hotels connected to the parks via monorail, the Polynesian stands across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom, with wicker- and bamboo-furnished guestrooms in 11 longhouses, each named for a Pacific island.

Just Disney at it's best. Pool is great, food is amazing, and 1 of the 2 original hotels. - Matt Babiak

The thing that hurts the Poly in my review is simply age. The hotel is old and it shows its age. That apart, we love staying there as it's incredibly convenient and we love the ambience especially at Christmas. We especially love Rapa Nui as it's a 2-minute walk to the TTC and a breeze to get to the MK and Epcot with a walk through to DHS from the International Gateway. Really enjoy eating at 'Ohana for a low-key dinner. - Keith Forrest

i love this place not better than ak lodge but still amazing a good hotel with good theming and good chaarecter breakfest meal - Manny Rodriguez

The Polynesian is a very beautiful, convenient resort. The food and service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The kids loved the Volcano Pool. In the midst of the chaos of a Disney family vacation, we could easily relax poolside at the Polynesian at the end of the day. - Jim Tonglet

The Polynesian in a true Disney classic. It has incredible landscaping, wonderful pools, great dining, large guest rooms, and a spectacular location across from the Magic Kingdom. The cast members are always helpful and welcoming, and the hotel has an ambiance that few other places can match. - Winston Chapman

Beautiful: the whole place is nice, lush and relaxing. the center island of plants in the lobby is also cool. Ohana is amazing. the food was more than enough( well it was a buffet) and was delicious. - David L.

It is so close to the Ticket and Transportation Center (walking distance) and is perfect for visiting the Magic Kingdom. Make sure you get a refurbished room (I am not sure if they are all refurbished yet) - we did and it was beautiful. For one of the older resorts, the Poly still shines. Pool area is a BLAST for kids and the tiki bar service is outstanding. You can rent a speedboat and ride around the Seven Seas Lagoon and see the Magic Kingdom. Great view of fireworks. The dinner show is great. Expensive, but worth it. - s b
