Considered Disney World's top hotel, this Victorian-themed hotel's look was inspired by the historic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. The Grand Floridian offers a white-sand beach, a four-star restaurant (Victoria & Albert's) and monorail access to the Magic Kingdom.

Elegant, yet comfortable for bringing children along too.
Fine dining, and also a comfortable food service by the marina.
Sometimes snobbish as the service staff avoids greetings, as The Polynesian can always bring you an Aloha, or May halo from its cheerful staff.
The Lake area needs attention due to weeds, and discolored white sand, but I was here off season, and maybe they are slacking.
They have 2 beautiful pools that serve refreshments, and one that offers a shower in the restrooms.(for those who like to shower off the chlorine)
Great food, outside movies for the family, and great atmosphere.
Nice evening views too.
