Kennywood
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Description
Kennywood is often considered to be "America's Finest Traditional Amusement Park". And any visit to Kennywood would prove that. Kennywood is an old-fashioned 'Trolley Park' that got its start in 1898. It has a lot of older, vintage rides that you just don't find in modern amusement parks anymore. But it also has a healthy mix of newer, state-of-the-art thrill rides as well. Kennywood is ever changing, but prides itself on its history, too. It is one of only two amusement parks that has been designated a National Historic Landmark. In a world full of mega-theme parks trying to recreate nostalgia, Kennywood's nostalgia is genuine. It truly is "America's Finest Traditional Amusement Park"! -- Last edited by David Hahner
