Readers' Opinions
Themeing is insulting to a ride with such history. The florecent paint lit by Black light, in the tunnels is fine. But the Garfield stuff is just plain silly. I wonder why they tampered with such a important ride in Trolley park history. Please put back in the dancing skeletons or the images of exotic locations. Ride this only for the rnostalgia of being the oldest "Tunnel of Love" ride in the US. - Elizabeth Gray I have to agree with Addie. The Old Mill was one of those things that should not have been tampered with. Kennywood made a mistake by modifying this ride. Garfield does not belong in Kennywood, and nor does his "nightmare." - Beth Bickar This ride is extremely stupid. The Old Mill was a Kennywood favorite, and this ride ruined it. I mean, 3-D flying pizza and soda? That's not what a nightmare is like. That would be heaven for the little children I know. As for the scandall of some kid "passing out" or whatever on the Old Mill, you have got to be kidding me. That ride had skeletons playing cards and dancing. How is that scary? In conclusion, don't ride this ride if you are over four, or unless you're with young children. - Addie Rascoe
