Readers' rating:
Riding on the front is a must for any floor less coaster. Great transition from loop to cobra roll. Corkscrews were a little rough but interesting positioning of the two corkscrews. 9/10 - Edward Morgan Not as good as Volcano or Intimidator 305 but it's still really good. My 1st ride was really smooth but rode it again & felt a little rattle on the corkscrews. It's no Superman: Krypton Coaster but it's a good floorless coaster. 8/10 - Will Gibson The ride is smooth, fast and has plenty of inversions. The cobra roll was particularly fun. The front seat is the best. - Justin Curtis A fun coaster, with a variety of elements and graceful speed. Not the best coaster in the park (Volcano still holds that honor) but worthy of your time. The biggest drawback to Dominator is the complete lack of scenery and theming around the course (a problem shared by several of Kings Dominion's coasters). Even a tree or two would be welcomed! - James Rao Great Ride. It was the perfect speed though the inversions. Very Smooth as well. I think the lift chain should be faster but still a great ride. - John Podles Getting to be painful, and just not as fun anymore. =( - Chase Gray I wish Dominator could return to Ohio :( It had been nearly 9 years since my last ride on Dominator & I had forgotten how awesome this coaster is. Speed, air, fairly smooth, & lots of fun elements. This definitely ranks as one of my top B&Ms and I wish I could have gotten more rides. Definitely give it a ride in the back for the best experience. - Erin B More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
