Flight of Fear reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Flight of Fear, a roller coaster at Kings Dominion. (The minimum height to ride is 54 inches.)
Written by James Rao FoF shares the same layout as Poltergeist at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
Readers' rating:
Good launch but that's about it. The layout is really jerky. It needs to be darker too. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is better. Poltergeist is worse. 5/10 - Will Gibson Great Track and layout but a few drawbacks. It is themed for Halloween already and they had enough lights on to see where you are going. Turn all the lights off and bring back the amazing theming. Very Smooth though! 8/10 - Edward Morgan OMGOSH awesome awesome awesome ride! Being enclosed in the dark just makes the ride totally scary good! It's just barely lit enough to see the track in front of you so you CAN see a little bit which direction you're going but I hope this one stays around for a long time! - Adrienne McDonald The average dark coaster. - Jean Seo-Park This was a pretty fun ride! The launch was fun, and it was pretty cool to be in mostly dark. Though with what one reviewer said, that it isn't as good as MGM's rock n roller coaster, because that one has less going on, it has some great visual effects, though I disagree, it isnt bright as day in there but you can see the track, it is more of a grayish in the building. Still worth a ride! - Monica DellaVecchia I had high hopes for Flight of Fear, but after the initial launch, it was a HUGE disappointment. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios, despite appearing to have a much tamer layout, offers a significantly better and more thrilling ride than FoF. And calling FoF a dark ride is a total misnomer as the inside of that building is nearly bright as day. Epic fail. - James Rao Great coaster, one of my top five favorites ever! - Chase Gray More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
