Flying Eagles

Flat ride

By James RaoPosted: June 19, 2009

A set of Bisch-Rocco Flying Scooters.

Guests ride in suspended cars that rotate in a circle. Once the ride’s speed increases, riders use a fin on the front of the car to steer the car higher or lower.

Originally called the Parrot Troopers and later called Scream Weaver, this ride goes back to the park's beginnings in the mid-1970's.

Guests less than 48 inches tall must be accompanied by a responsible person to ride.

Even though this is a 'kid ride' and has a thrill rating of 2, this ride was fun! You can swing yourself in completely different directions rather quickly, and if you do it the right ways this ride can actually be pretty thrilling. When its windy it literally felt like the wind picked me up and carried me, and my husband swore he moved his in such a way he brushed the trees. We had a lot of fun on this one! Though since we are both medium sized adults, we could only ride one per car. - Monica DellaVecchia

6.5 7- of 10 Great ride.. I loved it when I was a kid. Used to be called Scream Weaver. - Jason Skaggs
