A Premiere Rides LIM Launched coaster themed to a car chase. Guests ride in small cars and speed around an industrial city. Features a 40 mph launch up a 900 degree spiral track, a helicopter that shoots at you, and a finale in the dark where the trains skid from side to side.
Opened as Italian Job: Stunt Track in 2005 before being renamed in 2008.
FastLane is available for this attraction.
This ride is worth waiting for once, but that's about it. The launch was fun but not very aggressive and was in my opinion the best part of the ride. The initial helix was overly forceful yet not thrilling (as is the case for most helixes). It was neat getting stopped to be a part of a gun fight with flames before getting launched back into action. however, i thought the theming during this pause could have used some more effects.. The real fire was great and the helicopter was detailed but the bullet sounds and "holes" left something to be desired. (7/10) - Lexi R
I really enjoyed this roller coaster! I felt that it was well themed and paced. It was a good launch and helix, and there is a good pop of airtime near the front. The helicopter scene where you stop is cool with fire and bullet marks light up. The best was the pitch black (what flight of fear should have had). It was fun. 8/10 - Edward Morgan
I am a huge coaster fan i loved dragster i do the crazy stuff so i thought this rde was gonna b crap but it turned out actually pretty cool i would recommend riding this but be warned it gets hot! - ed shaheen
I enjoy this one. It's a good family coaster. But the line can get long, to the point where you question whether it's really worth it. - Bradley Keith
Backlot Stunt Coaster is a very good first ride for someone. This ride is smooth and enjoyable for all ages. Get ready because when the barrell catches fire it gets hot in the seat. Enjoy. - Darrell Weaver
I enjoyed this ride greatly although the pause in the middle is cheasy. The launch is fun, the helix is great and the best part is in the pitch black. Very good ride. - Michael Hurley
