About Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad

Steam Train attraction between Rivertown and the water park, Boomerang Bay. The ride lasts about 10 minutes to complete a full circuit. Two locomotives (green and blue) pull guests. Seen along the way is a trestle, the water park, a western town, and an engine shed. Much of these displays are in less-than-great condition, however. -- Last edited by Ty Mullins

I rarely use the train..nothing special at all - Allan Birmantas

Although enjoyable and a nice way to reach the watarpark, KI&MVRR lacks much charm. The scenery guests pass is falling apart and in need of repair and repainting. The attraction is also pathetic when compared to its earlier years. At one point in time, live actors portrayed cowboys and Indians as they battled and interacted with guests. Today, the entertainment is a collection of music played over the speakers. - Ty Mullins
