GhostRider reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for GhostRider, a roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. (The minimum height to ride is 48 inches.)
Written by A.J. Hawkey Knott's largest attraction, this is one of the larger wooden coasters around. this is a very exciting coaster with tight turns and a long drop in the begining.
Readers' rating:
Overrated! I had heard that this made the list of several people's favorite woodies but I did not feel much airtime or force at all. Like most of Knott's Berry the queue was well done and I liked that the ride ops were wearing themed outfits. As for the people calling this ride rough, that is what a wooden coaster is all about. It is bumpy and shaky, but that is the intended ride sensation, and I did not find it painful at all. (7.5/10) - Lexi R Fun ride, a bit long, but way to shakey! My back hurt a lot the last time I was on this! - N O Once one of the great woodies in the world, GhostRider's gotten progressively rougher over the years, and now isn't even the best wooden coaster in Southern California, IMHO. (Apocalypse, nee Terminator Salvation, at Six Flags Magic Mountain is my pick.) - Robert Niles ok ride, but very painful. This is the only ride I do not put my hands up on. I went in the back on GhostRider and i'm not going in the back again. Knott's should make GhostRider smoother. - nick . My favorite ride at Knotts is infamous Ghostrider. most people get back pains from this ride but it leves me no harm. maybe it is because i never hav my hands on the handle bars. im comfortable on the ride every time. but i dont recommand you go on twice in a row - isaiah mercado this ride gave me bad back pains and gave me the biggest headache i am never riding it again - nic goren A bit jerky but I expected that. I like the layout & speed it had. Great woodie. Not the best I've ridden but not the worst either. It's worth another ride in my book. - Adrienne McDonald More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
