Knott's largest attraction, this is one of the larger wooden coasters around. this is a very exciting coaster with tight turns and a long drop in the begining.

fun...long..painful 8/10 - N O

Once one of the great woodies in the world, GhostRider's gotten progressively rougher over the years, and now isn't even the best wooden coaster in Southern California, IMHO. (Apocalypse, nee Terminator Salvation, at Six Flags Magic Mountain is my pick.) - Robert Niles

ok ride, but very painful. This is the only ride I do not put my hands up on. I went in the back on GhostRider and i'm not going in the back again. Knott's should make GhostRider smoother. - nick .

My favorite ride at Knotts is infamous Ghostrider. most people get back pains from this ride but it leves me no harm. maybe it is because i never hav my hands on the handle bars. im comfortable on the ride every time. but i dont recommand you go on twice in a row - isaiah mercado

this ride gave me bad back pains and gave me the biggest headache i am never riding it again - nic goren

A bit jerky but I expected that. I like the layout & speed it had. Great woodie. Not the best I've ridden but not the worst either. It's worth another ride in my book. - Adrienne McDonald

Love it! - Jay Posteraro

First of all, I am not a hugh fan or wooden coasters as they are always bumpy and not as thrilling as the steel coasters. However, I will give Ghostrider its props. For a wooden roller coaster, it sure has one of the steepest drops I have ever rode on in all of the SoCal theme parks. It is one of the fastest wooden roller coasters I have ever been on (as compared to the two over at SFMM). Definitely a ride I want to try to go back on again when I go back this year. - D.S. Francisco

Best wooden coaster in socal! Even better than those at six flags MM. The ride gives a good long exciting, thrlling, and fun experience. - Erik Avila

SICK airtime...like, exaggeratingly long! Rough ride too...you'll be lucky if you can even pull your head up to see where the coaster is going with the crazy speed this thing has... Word of advice, if you're a crazy coaster junkie that has a thing for scaring the bejesus out of yourself...do yourself a solid and ride at night when the park is about to close... Trust me...that ride is a trip at that point! - Steph Ramos

I have ridden on Ghostrider a couple times and have to say it is the most jerky rollercoaster I have ever been on. I would not recommend this ride to anyone. It just about jarred the teeth out of my mouth. If it was smoother it would be great. - Ronald Hayes

The first and best roller coaster I've ever been on. This scared the bejesus out of me when I was 7 years old, and still does in its own special way. This is a classic wooden coaster and what all wooden coasters should be. 1,000/10 - Jack Borgeson

I seriously can't stand this ride. It is wayyy too rough and it hurt my head and my back. If it wasn't so rough it would be really fun, it has some good drops but its just to rough to be fun. - Chloe !

9/10 some people think its rough, and it is, but not in the front seat its not!!!! my friend christian pretty much broke his back riding. but great for airtime-junkies! - Corey Nelson

Fun, but very rough. I went on i and it hurt my hip and i couldn't walk right the rest of the day. 7 - Kathryn Bonner

In it's early years, it was one of the best wooden coasters in the country. However, it has not aged well, and now I refuse to ride due to a ride experience that can only be described as painful. Not uncomfortable, painful. Knott's should consider some extensive refurbishment to the ride before someone gets significantly injured and sues. I've heard people who are in perfect health complain that they had sore backs for days after their visits to the park. Once upon a time: Pefection. Now: Intolerable. - Josh Bishop
