Minimum height to ride: 42 inches

About Sierra Sidewinder

A new twist on traditional roller coasters that not only offers speed, but spin! Each of the four cars will take riders through a series of nose-dives, banks, dips, and turns at a speed of 37 mph while continually rotating on its axis!

It is a fun ride. There will be lines for this ride as it is a slow loader. The camra on board is a fun addition to any ride. - Erik Cobbs

A VERY interesting concept, because the spin introduces a random feature to the ride! Once your car clears the top of the lift hill, the pivot is released and the car is free to rotate in whatever fashion is dictated by the weight-distribution of the 4 people in that car. I was the heaviest of the 4 people in my car, so I spent a significant portion of the ride on the "low" side or "outside" of the turns, as governed by gravity and/or centrifugal force. Could be different every time, depending on who is in those other 3 seats! Only at the very end is the pivot locked down and the car rotated back to where it's needed for unloading. - Steve A.

A junior-coaster that proves even adults can enjoy it too. Very thrilling for its unexpected twist along the track. Good job Knott's!! - Adriel Tjokrosaputro

It was pretty fun but I would skip it if the line was too long. - Chloe !

A nice addition to Knott's--a solid ride that the whole family can enjoy (and it fits in well with Camp Snoopy). - Chuck Campbell
