1001 Nacht

Track ride

About 1001 Nacht

Hanging in chairlift-esque carriages, people in groups of two pass through a dragons mouth into a cave where you pass by models depicting scenes from the age old stories of arabian times. This is a gentle ride that gets you off your feet and is accompanied by gentle music. You can usually walk onto this, and it only lasts a few minutes, so it's good for relaxing when the park is busy. It also gives a good view of Walzertraum.
The name is changed into Gondelbahn. -- Last edited by A. P.

The first attraction of this park, still very much fun to ride. It uses no pressurized animatronics, but instead dolls that move by strings attached to it. - A. P.

Phantasialands oldest ride and it shows. The suspended cars creak their way through simple scenes depicting the tales of 1001 nights. Unfortunately the ride is rather dull and the novelty of the suspended cars wears off quickly. - David Wilcock
