Temple of the Night HawkRoller coasterAbout Temple of the Night HawkA word of warning: don't ride this after Colorado Adventure as you will be severely disappointed. Very similar to Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain in that it is pitch black, has very unimaginative on ride scenery (eg. nothing) and is boring to ride. This is a shame because after the success of CA, people were beginning to think Phantasialand had sorted out their rollercoaster policy. Then they launched this, originally called Space Center, and people began to change thier minds. Typically, you would have thought that this would have been some sort of coaster that at one point inverted, even if it was just 1 vertical loop. You would have thought wrong. Usually I believe not to judge a rollercoaster by it's number of inversions, but I think a few might have helped here. The fact it uses lap bars shows what needs to be said. It is slow. Very, very slow, and the few drops that it does have are tiny and meaningless, adding nothing to the experience. This was better off being marketed as a family ride, so if you have any expectations at all, miss this out. On another note, there is a surprisingly long queue for something so short. Readers' Opinions
At the opening the best of its kind, nowadays quite slow, but still enjoyable.Could use a new track. - A. P.
