The WoF Railroad was named for the Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy overnight rail service between Kansas City and Chicago. Supposedly, a Missourian likened the speed of the service to the speed of a then popular Chillicothe racehorse named Eli. Photo submitted by James Rao
