Furious Baco is a roller coaster which has opened in PortAventura in May 2007 made by Intamin AG. It is an Intamin Accelerator roller coaster. The fastest roller coaster in Europe at 83.9 mph, which the ride will reach in 3.5 seconds. It will have one inversion which will be an inline twist. Exceptional feeling of speed, especially on the front row! - Mark Moore

Almost perfect! This ride is my favourite at the park. It looked a shorter ride than it actually is and didn't look like much. However, it is clear when you get close to the front of the ride that a considerable amount of money has been spent and it is well themed and modern. I think that you are supposed to shoot out of the building due to an explosion caused by a monkey. There is a short film involving a scientist and a monkey before you shoot at high speeds out of the building around the track turning upside down at one point and flying over the lake. The ride is floorless and having rode on both the second and the front row I would say that the experience is not lost if you are not on the front row. This ride is fabulous and worth queuing for! - Emily G

As we walked to the ride people were coming off, it was not working due to a fault - not a good omen, however we decided to queue and wait to see what happened - are we glad we did! After a number of false starts and test runs they got it working again. Those who had waited cheered as the first group went out and they do the inline 360 right past where you wait in line - talk about building the suspense.... Our turn came and we were sat and strapped - tight, the ride moved off to a holding position where a lame film about the fermentation of wine is shown, when you realize that this is the preamble to the start of the ride - where you are the cork popping out of a bottle and then it hits you - the acceleration, I have not experienced anything like it. The ride is short but memorable and the final swoop over the lake - WOW! Would highly recommend. - Andy Traynor
