Readers' Opinions
I’m sorry, but I don’t need all the back story for what set someone on his or her career path. I want to see the Shamu make big splashes! Am I being too much of a sunbaked tourist? Yes. But that’s what I paid my $85.00 to do. The show tries too hard to make the audience feel all warm and fuzzy. What we really want to feel is wet and salty. Jump whale! - Rob McCullough This Shamu show pales in comparison to previous versions. Who cares about the trainers and that little wooden necklace thing. I want to see more of Shamu and the other whales doing the stunts instead of a lot of video playing on those moving screens about the trainers. Shamu is Sea World's most recognizable icon and one of the most famous icon in the world. He deserves a better show in which the focus is on him more instead of the trainers. I really enjoyed previous shamu shows. They were more upbeat and featured more of the whales stunts. Please Sea World change this show, and its night time version, so it can be more like they were in the past. - Manny Barron It has been a while since I have been to Sea World, but this was an even better show than I remembered. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. - Carl Stovall
