It's EXTREMELY hard to interact with the dolphins if you do not help food. The trainers helped us out, but even then we couldn't touch them. The dolphins jumping was cool though. - Tommy Rowbal

Theme Parks are getting very good at selling air. Universal does it with the Express Pass, making hundreds of thousands of dollars off of essentially our desire to not waste our time waiting in line. SeaWorld has done it by redesigning the Dolphin cove experience. In the past, those who had purchased food and those who had not mingled together giving the latter a chance to be more “in touch” with the food focused dolphins. No longer. Now there is a fence build that separates those who made the financial investment and those who don’t. As a previous poster put it, the Dolphins are not dumb. They know where to go to get the fishes. No fishy no touchy! If you or your kids want to feel Flipper, you know what ‘cha gotta do. - Rob McCullough

when i was there it was a 10 out of 10 for me, the park wernt busy at the time so it was easy to interact with the dolphins - Rob Chandler

It's really hard to interact with the dolphins. This exhibit is always packed with people and the dolphins are smart, they won't come near you unless your holding a smelly fish that you waited in a long line to pay for. The underwater viewing area is a nice place to see them. - Manny Barron

It used to be better, now you only get interaction if you spend a long time in the queue to buy food. Even then its certain times of the day. Funny thing really, that people will pay to feed creatures they don't own, taking the financial burden off of the owners. Wonder if that will work with my pets????? Hmmm!!! - Gareth H

Gets crowded in the afternoon and unless you have fish, the Dolphins will not come to you. :-( The underwater viewing area is very nice and the music is also quite breathtaking to go along with the view. - Wilfredo Alvelo

Great opportunity to feed the dolphins and touch them. You can also see them from underwater. - celina linstow

go here early in the morning, before the fish booth is open. then the dolphins are bored and playful. - roxy m

When I was at Dolphin Cove it was very hard to get in at the dolphins. It is better to get there early. - Sarah Larkin

Would have been a 10 in my books if they didn't change it. You have to buy food to get the good spots. There's a small little corner where you can try to touch the dolphins, but the dolphins know where the food is. - Nick Dakuginow
