TurtleTrek reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for TurtleTrek, a movie at SeaWorld Orlando.
Written by Robert Niles TurtleTrek opened April 27, 2012 and features two animal habitats, one with manatees and the other with sea turtles. The highlight of the exhibit is the world's first 360-degree, 3D dome theater which shows a movie about sea turtles in their natural habitat.
Readers' rating:
Overall I found this to be a great 3D experience. The two aquariums that you view before the actual 3D film are a wonderful opportunity to see some manatees, fish, and, of course, sea turtles up close. The 3D film has amazing 3D images. As a previous reviewer stated, the animation is obviously not up to par with what you'd see at Disney or Universal, but I think the actual 3D presentation is as good or better. - Derek Morse A good addition to the park but doesn't reach the hype for its opening the film relies on poor computer animation with great 3D creating an off balance presentation - robert morris More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
