The Journey to Atlantis is a 3-1/2 minute flume ride. The boats spin on turntables at the top of two lifts, cultimating in a splashdown and drenching with geysers and waterspouts.

It's commendable. The design is unique & a bit nervewracking when you turn backwards to go over to the other side but a little too short IMO compared to the others at the other Sea World parks. - Adrienne McDonald

I thought the people who made it did think out of the box, but it lost all the real themeing and effects found in the original Journey to Atlantis rides in Orlando and San Diego. - Penelope Newman

Note this is completely different from the ride of the same name at SeaWorld: Orlando. This is truly a water ride and absolutely refreshing in the hot San Antonio sun. - Todd Houts
