Written by Robert Niles Manta is a Mack Launch Coaster that takes riders over and around the Forbidden Reef section of the park. The ride's kicks off with a hih-speed launch from a video tunnel, upon which images of rays are projected upon a 270-degree curved screen.
Manta covers its 2,835 feet of track in 1 minute and 56 seconds - the speed tops out at 43 mph and the largest drop is just 54 feet, but the twisting track design provides plenty of airtime.
