Added in 2011, Half Dollar Holler is located across from the Frisco Silver Dollar Line Train Depot, and was specifically designed for kids through age 7. It has a safe single-access entry and kid-friendly structures such as treetop funhouses, climbing nets, sand play, mini-wave swings, and more. Additionally the park's hand-carved carousel returned to anchor the area.

I bet it's fun for the little kids, but it completely ruined the Swinging Bridge for SDC veterans. The bridge used to be peaceful and very pretty as you crossed it, now all you see is a play ground and hear screaming kids instead of birds. - Tiffany Tutterrow

Even for the targeted age group, there is not much to do in the Holler. A disappointing addition - especially when compared to all the exciting attractions that are being added to SDC's sister park, Dollywood. - James Rao
