McHaffie's is an 1880's Ozark homestead where you can tour a real, hewn-log cabin, interact with members of the McHaffie family, and listen to some down-home singing, "picking", and story-telling.

You can also visit a barnyard/petting zoo, an old-time schoolhouse where a schoolmarm presents the lessons of the day, and a wilderness church where actual services are conducted every Sunday morning.

A pleasant diversion to be visited once you have completed your initial ride and show circuit. Especially entertaining if the Homestead Pickers are playing. - James Rao
