Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

About Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Formerly known as Six Flags Marine World, the park has now reopened its gates as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It's overall look and themed areas have been changed to fit the main three theme zones: Sea, Land, and Sky. The sea area features the many marine exhibits and shows of the park, while the land features many land animal exhibits, like the lions and leopards. And finally, the sky section has all the intense roller coasters for the adrenaline junkies that visit, such as the signature coaster, Medusa.

New for 2008: Tony Hawk's Big Spin, a skate-themed spinning coaster.
