5/17/1992 - Rattler - Submitted by robert on 5/7/2002 A rider was left with long-term vision loss after suffering a brain injury on the ride. Unverified Reports6/27/2009 - Rattler - Submitted by aguerra on 6/29/2009I suffered bruised ribs on the Rattler. I was riding by myself, as we had an odd number of people in our group and didn't want the kids to ride by themselves. On the first turn after the initial climb, despite holding on to the hand rail, I was thrown into the middle partion to my right. This knocked the wind out of me and left me doubled over the partition until the second climb. I would strongly recommend making sure you ride with a partner, that way you have someone else's shoulders that you can bounce off of.6/14/2007 - The Rattler - Submitted by air_alert1 on 7/15/2007 At the bottom of the drop, there is a slight turn. Since the ride is so shakey, my body was rattled around to the point that my back was hurting for the rest of the ride. This has happened both times I have been on this ride, and I do not plan on riding it again soon.7/5/2006 - Die Fledermause (known as the swings) - Submitted by joyce19974 on 7/12/2006 My daugher and myself were getting off the swings and the ride started up again. My daugter recieved a bump and I got a deep cut on my head. We moved out of the way as fast as we could until ride stopped. We were both treated at the First Aid center. I had to go to the hospital to recieve better care. I got a tetnas shot and 5 staples in my head. I have been told the ride was shut down for 3 days and could find nothing wrong with it.8/14/2004 - Boomerang - Submitted by superman on 5/12/2005 while going down the boomerangs first backwards hill, the sudden release made my neck turn down violently,my neck was sore for a week5/10/2002 - Rattler - Submitted by Name Withheld on 5/18/2002 After riding the Rattler, I had a sore upper back/neck. The next few days the pain from the injury was 10 fold. I couldn't turn my head or really do much of anything. I will personally never ride the rattler again. I have heard others mention whiplash effect on them as well. I am a healthy 32yr Female.5/28/2001 - Boomerang - Submitted by Name Withheld on 6/16/2001 Two people were injured (minor) when their car separated from the train at the top of the first hill. The car jerked to a stop.3/17/2000 - Poltergeist - Submitted by schubnell on 7/24/2001 I sustained a concussion and suffered from severe post-concussion syndrome (according to my doctor). It took my months to recover, I suffered from migraines, seizures and all sorts of medical problems. I would like to hear about other accidents on this ride.
