Bugs White Water Rapids reviews
Theme Park Insider readers offer their ratings and reviews for Bugs White Water Rapids, a flume ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. (The minimum height to ride is 42 inches.)
This water ride WILL get you wet but how much depends on where you sit. The rides starts out easy enough going through a winding, below grade river. The first hill takes you up and over to a simple splash into the large lagoon where if the sprayer is working will get you nice and cool on a hot summer's day. The second hill takes you up to a trough overlooking the kiddie rides. If you are seated in the first seats you will definetely get inundated with LOTS of water as the front of the car dips into the water and allows it into and onto your lap. There is no down hill from this but only another 'up' hill that takes you to the fast, hold on to your hat, slide down into another trough of water. But the ride is not over. Before reentering the station you will glide along a winding channel and 'open' to the public, who for a mere quarter, can spray you with even MORE WATER! This is a nice family ride and best rode during the warm parts of the day so you can dry off before evening. The amusement park is built in a old quarry which, depending on the time of year, can get quite damp and cool as the day wears on.
Readers' rating:
OMGOSH I luv the theming on this log ride. It has to be the best idea for theming on a log ride I've seen so far. It is so cute & a good ride too. It's a good length & not your typical layout for a flume ride. There are also 'water guns' at one of the turnarounds so be prepared for someone to shoot you w/water to get you more wet. - Adrienne McDonald More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
