Rolling ThunderRoller coasterMinimum height to ride: 44 inches About Rolling ThunderA dual-track wooden coaster with differing layouts between the left and right tracks. A great coaster for, thrilling, but not too thrilling. A family favorite, as it celebrated its 30 year birthday in spring 2008. Its second hill is as tall as the second hill on El Toro, just to give you the feel. You'll love this on this you lift out of your seat on Rolling Thunder. -- Last edited by katie c [Update this description | Read previous versions] Photos from Rolling ThunderSafety
Readers' Opinions
Not too rough, only a couple of really rough parts. Still, too rough to be enjoyable... it's not fun, and while you're riding it, you're forced to look at the people having the time of their life on el toro! So not good, and really beats you up. Not as bad as rough as Roar at SFA, though. - Eli Katzman Its a classic wooden coaster.. especially after el toro this one hurts little, but thats what makes it great. that old theme park ride sensation makes this one ok - Ryan Denney too rough. it hurts a lot, 0 airtime, wasnt a race, and is not reccomended by me - Carlo Mangiafreno ehh its ok. Nothing special, it wasnt racing when I went. Kind of boring and 0 airtime. - Christy Shuman I've been on close to 100 coasters, and this one is almost definitely in my bottom 5. It is so rough as to be painful, and the banging, rattling, and pounding does not let up as the ride slows down. And there's nothing especially noteworthy about it to make up for the awful ride. This one belongs in the scrap heap. - Matt Harris A classic. It's a little rough, but still a very fun wooden coaster. - George McClelland It got really rough so I wouldnt recommend - Dan Rosenberg
