An excellent compact theme park filled with thrilling attractions and home of Superman Ride of Steel. This park will thrill you, entertain you and feed you in true New England style.

History: Six Flags New England was formerly known as Riverside Park, due to its Eastern Border of the Connecticut River. Six Flags bought the park in 2000, and immediately installed Superman and other various attractions.

Rides: Superman: Ride of Steel is the primary coaster in the park. Made by Intamin AG of Switzerland, it is consistantly rated as one of the world's top coasters. SFNE also had Batman: The Ride(a floorless coaster), Cyclone, Flashback, and Thunderbolt.

New for 2008: The Dark Knight Coaster, a Batman-themed indoor roller coaster.
