Location: Six Flags New England is located off Route 159 in greater Springfield, Massachusetts, in the nearby town of Agawam, Massachusetts.Six Flags New England Route 159, 1623 Main Street Agawam, MA 01001 History: Six Flags New England was formerly known as Riverside Park, due to its eastern border being on the Connecticut River. Six Flags bought the park in 2000. Hours: http://www.sixflags.com/newEngland/info/parkInfo.aspx. Six Flags New England is open from April through Halloween. Tickets: Buy and print online. Always try to buy your tickets in advance, to save time when you get to the park. Reservations: Six Flags New England sells Flash Passes, which offer priority boarding opportunities. For much more, you can buy a VIP tour, which allows you and your group to skip all the lines. Strategy: As with any amusement park, arrive early (at least :30 minutes before opening) and hit the coasters first, starting with Bizarro, in the back of the park. New for 2012: Déjà Vu, a Vekoma inverted Boomerang coaster, will be moved from Six Flags Magic Mountain to Six Flags New England.
