Formerly Monster Plantation, this water dark ride received a sweeping makeover in 2009. You're invited to go to a Monster Picnic and humans are welcome. But something goes wrong and you'll have to ride to find out.

I luv the Monster Plantation...it's a pleasant ride in a cool air facility, you're floating in a boat on the water. It's really cute then scary at the same time. I found it very entertaining & a time I can just sit & relax a little. This one I look forward to on every visit. - Adrienne McDonald

Brilliant, better than many Disney darkrides like pooh, snow white, and journey into the imagination. Definately a classic. Six flag's best themed ride attempt. - David L.

You know I really enjoyed this ride, It was very unique and different... Really jolly happy beginning and a bit spooky at the end, but funny... - bryan shepard

The recent renovation looks good. The ride is still about a decade behind the rest of the amusement park world but it is a very nostalgic one for me so I tend to wait in the long line patiently. - Christian Baggett

The new and improved Monster Plantation is wonderful. It's a million miles away from the old Tails from the Okefenokee that was there back in the 60's. The upgrades add new sound, lights and scenery and effects. Best of all, the show building no longer smells like old tennis shoes! Great job SFOG. It's a first class dark ride. - Brian Collins

I rode the new "Monster Mansion" version and it is truly remarkable. Very impressive theming for a Six Flags ride. Absolutely adorable although some parts may be too scary for children (darkness, a small drop, loud noises intended to make you jump.) - Reid Hester

Its cute. A good way to rest your feet for awhile and its an inside ride so it gets you out of the sun for awhile. - Melissa Faulkner
