  • Follow-up:
I CANNOT VERIFY THIS PARTICULAR INCIDENT. BUT I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THIS RIDE BECAUSE I HAVE RIDDEN IT BEFORE. I CANNOT REMEMBER THE DATE BUT OUR CHURCH WENT THERE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. ON THAT DAY WE RODE THE NINJA. MANY OF US WERE COMPLAINING OF HEADACHES AND NECK ACHES BECAUSE THE RIDE IS VERY ROUGH, AND THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM BEATS YOUR EARS OFF. -- Submitted by ALLYKAT on 6/25/2007

At the time I was 5'5" while riding the Ninja my head was repatedly struck by the harness. During part of the ride I was blacked out and when I got of the ride my vision was blurred. It didn't have any long term effects but that was my first and last over head harness coaster

This happened to me first hand. I am 5'1" tall, short but tall enough to ride coasters. While riding the Ninja @ Six Flags GA my head was slammed against the overhead shoulder restraint repeatedly. As a result I suffered a ruptured ear drum which did require VERY costly and very painful surgery to repair. (approx $9,000 all told). At the time it happened I wasn't aware I had suffered a serious injury, as it wasn't really painful. It just felt/sounded like my ear was clogged with water. I wasn't worried, so I didn't report the accident to the park. Now I wish I had. I was pleased to discover this site, and to be given the opportunity to warn others, expecially those of smaller stature like myself, to take caution when riding this ride. I know I'll avoid it in the future. It's way to rough, and I consider this a dangerous thing!
