I was riding the Titan for the third time, as we entered the final horizontal loops I started to black out. My eyes felt like they were blacking over, and as soon as we were out of the spin I was back to normal. I am a paramedic and I just wanted to warn others to be causious of the intense G Forces. It was an interesting experience and I will ride again.

I wasn't there at the time but the same exact thing happened to me, as I was in the car and it was on the track my head was being "pulled" to the left and my eyes did the same thing. -- Submitted by Name Withheld on 5/21/2002

I had the same blackout experience on the Titan, and I have ridden many roller coasters in my life and never experienced that. -- Submitted by mschaefe on 8/23/2002

I often black out twice on Titan the G-force pulls down really har and in the summer i usually black out. This happens about 95% of the time and it happens once right before you pull into the break system in the middle of the ride and also happens when you are close to the ground. So i dont suggest you ride this ride!!(especially in the summer.2003 -- Submitted by AmericanIdolJr on 7/4/2003

I'm not so sure when this happened but my friend blacked out both times we were riding right on the spin/cylone type thing. She could only see black but could hear everything, then went back to normal. -- Submitted by Name Withheld on 2/20/2004

I've ridden this ride many times and every single time I get on it I black out at least 3 times or more...It's kinda scary, but the ride is too fun to stop :) -- Submitted by jbev on 6/24/2007

I previously worked at six flags at the TITAN during the summer of 06... the black outs happened to many people including myself... I had to ride the ride twice a day once in the morning and once in the afternoon for safety checks.... every time I blacked out and many times as i worked there the ride did stop either at the very top hill or at the safety brake.... -- Submitted by ducky411 on 10/1/2007

    6/11/2006 - Texas Giant - Submitted by gambitt7 on 6/16/2006
I badly bruised my ribs on this ride (Texas Giant). Advice to future riders. Don't sit in the left side of the car. (it's a 2 seater). There is a hard plastic/rubber divider between the 2 seats in the car that my left side of my uppper torso/ribs area was slammed hard against through out the entire ride. It is now Friday, 5 days after the ride and every breath, sneeze, cough, etc... practically brings tears to my eyes because of the pain. I am almost ready to go to the doctor for pain relief. Let me say again to future riders to be aware of this. I do think I would have been okay in the other seat. Calgon take me away...!!!
