Superman Tower of Power

Drop ride
Minimum height to ride: 52 inches

Superman: Tower of Power is a S&S Power Combo Tower that resembles a tripod structure. It is the tallest ride in the world to use both space shot and turbo drop sequences.

Riders are launched up the tower (space shot) then slow just before reaching the top. The cart then falls halfway down the tower before being sent back to the top to complete the turbo drop portion of the ride.

Once at the top, the cart is locked in place for a few seconds before it is dropped in a freefall before being bounced half way up the tower and dropped again for unloading.

On very hot days, operators only run the space shot portion of the ride.

Superman: Tower of Power is a Flash Pass attraction.

I'm rating it average. Most of the ride is rather dull. The best parts are the initial launch and the first drop. After those moments, the bouncing that eases riders up and down feels too controlled to make it all that exciting. - Carl Stovall

Great ride! Best when they bounce you, and then take you up to the top again after the launch and drop you from there! Great ride! - Jake Gould

Love it. Love the suspense... you're hanging about five feet from the ground.. slightly floating.. you calm down after a while thinking it's going to be a long time for it to fly up.. and as soon as you let your guard down WHOOSH! The suprise is the best part! It's very fun, it feels like you left your stomach on the ground, but in a good way! - Sha Windham

The tallest blast ride anywhere. (Note the highest, that would be Big Shot in Vegas, but then it's mounted on top of a tower.) - Todd Houts
