8/31/2000 - X:\ No Way Out - Submitted by robert on 5/7/2002 A 11-year-old boy was left with slurred speech after suffering a brain injury on the ride (left vertebral artery dissection). Unverified Reports6/26/2009 - Stealth - Submitted by babycousins on 7/3/2009basically i was on stealth, rode it once at the front no problems whatsoever. then i went on a aggain immediatley after, and this time i sat on the back. it really hurt my back, in between my shoulder blades. my cousin had discomfort in his shoulders and the next daty they were a yellowy colour, due to bruising6/21/2006 - Ribena Rumba Rapids - Submitted by james_909 on 6/21/2006 i dont know if this is an injury but when i was about 7 with the ride then named thunder river we crashed into a rock near the end and i was thrown forward and smashed into my cousins elbow and knocked my tooth quite funny at the time, but later it hurt7/30/2004 - Colossus - Submitted by AnthillMob on 10/2/2004 Whilst riding Collosus my head was thrown around and one of earrings came out because of all the bashing of my ears and head against the overhead restraint. I hope the earring didnt hurt anyone in the cars behind me, I know it hit the man next to me but he said he was ok and it hadn't hurt him. I've ridden this before a few times and have never had a problem with being rattled around in my seat. Perhaps when you sit in the middle as opposed to the back or front it's worse. I had a headache after coming off the ride so I didn't go on any other rides (I was there with my nephews who went on all the kiddy rides). Just to warn others, if you have earrings please take them out just incase. It's a great ride and i'd go on it again, I know the risks but I take the chance.5/10/2004 - Flying Fish - Submitted by redhoots on 6/16/2004 as my four year old son was exiting the ride he triped on a bar and landed on his face leading to a broken nose.8/20/2001 - Ribena Rumba Rapids - Submitted by Alex3004 on 6/18/2005 my nan (75) was riding this with the whole family. as we crashed violently into one of the rocks, she jolted herself that she nearly broke a rib. she didnt think much of it during the day, it was when we got home that we encountered the disasterous bruising.7/15/1994 - Depth Charge - Submitted by AnthillMob on 10/2/2004 This is approximate year, it was when this attraction had first opened and possibly had another name. You go down the large "bumpy slide" scotting on water in a rubber dinghy. as i went over the bumps i literally came out of my dinghy and was lucky to land back in it. there are no safety restraints at all, just you and a rubber dhingy. I'm suprised that there have been no injuries or fatalities on this attraction, if you're unlucky enough to go down the chutes at the side especially as there are no walls or anything just a sheer drop. I have been back to Thorpe Park many times and I will never ever and have never gone on this attraction again as i think it's so dangerous. No Date Reported - Ribena Rumba Rapids - Submitted by zappomatic on 7/26/2002 In the ride's opening year of 1986 (when it was known as Thunder River), an 11 year old boy called Jonathon White was thrown from a boat and lost his ear.No Date Reported - X:\ No Way Out - Submitted by NICKEDWARDS on 5/24/2003 A 14 year old boy broke both this legs when X-NWO stopped the thought the ride was over & was geting out when the train started again & fell out.
