The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge

Table service

Description

A lounge with drinks, hors d'oeuvres and light sandwiches. (Okay, maybe it's just me, but I envisoned the first President Roosevelt chowing down on some huge hunk of freshly killed meat--not hors d'oeuvres and "light sandwiches"....)

We had a lovely gin & tonic minus the ice and really enjoyed the squeaky (and comfortable!) leather chairs and dark, moody lighting. The ragtime and dixie music really lightened our moods and we had a delightful time. The details are always impressive, too: like carved bear pillars holding up the bar or the tiger sconces with the lights in their mouths. You can explore the adventure and achievements of T. Roosevelt's life in the display cases and wall paintings. Nice place to get out of the sun and have a cool one! - Robynn Gille

Wow. The theming here is awesome. - Andrew Carlson
