I don’t like water parks. That said, I LOVE Typhoon Lagoon. I live in Orlando and when I need a day away, I’ll pack a picnic lunch, the book I’m reading, my Ipod and a big ‘ol tub of sun block and make a day of it at Typhoon Lagoon. You will most often find me camped out near the Shark entrance to Castaway Creek enjoying the shade, sand and the ever changing parade of folks floating along in the creek. It is pure relaxation and pleasure. Sure I’ll venture into the wave pool, and might even do a slide or two. The real reason I go here however is to chill out. Typhoon Lagoon, and in particular Castaway Creek is the best place to unwind in Orlando. - Rob McCullough The most impressive well themed lazy river I have ever been on. Really relaxing ride surrounded by lush greenery - Emily G This is EXACTLY what a water park river ride is supposed to be. Lush tropical landscaping, waterfalls and caves. If a life guard would hand me a margarita every couple of laps I'd never get out of the tube! - TH Creative
