A revamp of the original show--now you follow an archeological expedition, leading up to the big battle between Poseidon and Zeus. The water vortex effect is the highlight of the show but may not be working at this time.

Amazing exterior! I loved the ruin-like theme throughout! The acting was good(though cheesy) and the effects were great! 9/10. - David L.

1/10 - I'm sorry but I would queue not to ride this. Acting was awful and story was boring. - James Wimbury

Sometimes I justify the wait and the rest of the show for the water vortex, but not often. So many better things to see and do, like anything else in the park. - Skipper Adam

Poseidon's Fury is one of those attractions that you love or you hate. I love it. The architecture, theming, and special effects are only surpassed by Harry Potter. The show takes place in three different rooms, all of which are very cool. The highlight, of course, is the water chamber, which has been working every time I have come to the park. Part of your experience also depends on your tour guide. He might be very good, or he might be mediocre, which kind of destroys part of the experience. That being said, this attraction is not a must see. The final movie, in my opinioin, is very dated and should be updated. This attraction will probably freak out young kids as well, due to the fire, water, loud noise, and lighting effects. There is also a strobe light effect that temporarily blinds you. So if you have seizures, don't do this ride. Your day will not be ruined if you don't do this attraction. But if you have the chance, go for it. - Jake Mappes

Very scary and intense effect laden comedy show. A good actor is all you need for a hilarious expirience. The water vortex was the only good part. Skip unless neccecery. - Andrew Dougherty

Poseidon's Fury is an epic and well-acted walkthrough attraction that contains a large amount of eye-popping special effects including a walkthrough water vortex. Do not miss this one. - Jose Gabriel

The ride set up of moving into different holding rooms in different stages was a strange set-up. It made the whole experience quite disjointed. Even though my kids are older, they got quite disoriented with all of the lighting effects and the different layouts of the rooms with varying visibility. The first room especially was quite awkward. I did like the fire and water effects, and the vortex, but as a whole, I can only rate it as average. - Lisa K

Terrible show - only slightly entertaining aspect is the water vortex, which is just a tiny part of it. Oh yeah, and good luck catching it actually working. IoA should just absorb this entire show building into WWOHP and revamp it as a good ride or show - an epic battle with Voldemort or something, perhaps. - Mike Seary

The technology behind the show is kind of outdated. The show could also use a rewrite and a better name for the main villain Darkanon. (kinda cheesy) If Universal simply updated this attraction, I think Poseidon's Fury has potential to be a great show. The water vortex is extremely cool and I think it's the main reason why people still go to Poseidon's fury. - Roger Shurp

From the outside you think this is going to be something special, but honestly it isn't. A real waste of a big amount of space. Vortex wasn't working the last time I went on it, but it doesn't impress me much when it is. the story is a little long-winded and can be confusing for younger audiences. Get rid of it and replace with a movie-themed ride. - Ben Price

Annoying host, boring show but I did like the vortex! 4/10 - D H

I thought this was a pretty funny tour/show. Good theming and effects. But it doesn't quite live up to Disney's shows. - Nicholas Gammon
