Readers' rating:
Probably the best "kids" coaster out there. It feels forceful, offers great views, an awesome queue, and a Buckbeak animatronic. - Bryce McGibeny I know it's a kiddie coaster, but is a great one with an outstanding view of the potter area. Great! - David Shaul A nice "kiddy's first coaster" type ride with a fairly impressive Hippogriff AA and nice night-time lighting. - Sean Huckel Good theme and fun thrills for a kiddie coaster. 7/10. - David L. 4/10 - I'm sorry but this lasted about 20 seconds. - James Wimbury The Flying Unicorn was the first roller coaster I ever did, so this attraction has a lot of meaning to me. I don't remember the ride a lot before it was rethemed, but I love this version. The scenery and ride are a lot of fun on this attraction. The coolest part during the queue is seeing Hagrid's Hut. The ride is a lot of fun. One of my favorite parts about this ride is seeing an animotronic of Buckbeak in his nest, right before the lift hill. You also get a great view of the castle as you are ascending the lift hill. The ride itself is very tame, but I am not a big roller coaster fan, so it is fine for me. If you want to ride a more extreme version, sit in the back. You go much faster. If the line is super long, don't wait for it. But if you have time to kill and the line is short, go for it - Jake Mappes Pretty good kiddie coaster - Andrew Dougherty This is a nice roller coaster to go on as a family. - Lisa K Go for a close-up look at the hippogriff and Hagrid's hut, not for a great ride experience. I actually found this surprisingly rougher than I expected! The ride lasts all of about 12 seconds... - KJ Simpson Love the HP theming, Hagrid's Hut is a nice touch. A great coaster for kids or those not brave enough to take on the Dragon Challenge! Not worth more than a 10 minute wait. - Ben Price The wait on this ride never used to be long. Now that it's Harry Potter it can be up to a 45 minute wait on busy days. Too short and seats are uncomfortable. 3/10 - D H More attraction and restaurant ratings: |
