The Triceratops Discovery Trail returned in late 2010, after a nine-year absence at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Also formerly known as Triceratops Encounter, this short walk-through brings you "face to face" with a life-sized animatronic Triceratops. There's often a "trainer" there with a baby Trike, too.

Triceratops is back on a trail basis, and might operate as a seasonal attraction in the future, primarily to add a bit of extra capacity to the park when holiday crowds overrun the nearby Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

What the hell are people giving this rubbish a 7 for! This is the worst attraction I have ever been in. All it is, is a boring "JP Specialist" telling you how great animitronic dinosaurs are. By the way they only open this to get the crowd away from WWOHP. Don't go in unless you like boredom of 1 robot dino. 0/10 - D H
