Triceratops Discovery Trail reviews
Theme Park Insider takes a look back at Triceratops Discovery Trail, a walk-through in Jurassic Park at Universal's Islands of Adventure that's no longer open.
Written by Robert Niles
The Triceratops Discovery Trail returned in late 2010, after a nine-year absence at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Also formerly known as Triceratops Encounter, this short walk-through brings you "face to face" with a life-sized animatronic Triceratops. There's often a "trainer" there with a baby Trike, too.
Triceratops is back on a trail basis, and might operate as a seasonal attraction in the future, primarily to add a bit of extra capacity to the park when holiday crowds overrun the nearby Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
